Jordan Avery Johnson

Upon seeing them for the first time, the grandiose and magnificent landscapes of the West took over my life nearly four years ago and kickstarted a desire within me to convey the awe I felt with others via the art of landscape photography. Originally from Southwest Louisiana, I lived in Washington for two years and now reside in Northwestern Montana. With a passion and motivation to capture the breathtaking landscapes of Montana (and beyond!) in a unique way, I use almost every free day I have to venture into the wilderness with a camera in my hand.

To evoke emotions and an appreciation for how precious and beautiful our natural landscapes are is the primary goal of my work. Yet, each image I capture holds personal significance for me as well; the memories of where I was in my life, both in the big picture and in the moment, stare back at me through every photo that I look back on.

Feel free to reach out to me via email or Instagram to talk photography or life in general. Also, if you would like to see any work not displayed here or on my Instagram, my ear and inbox is always open.
