Pyramid Mountain, Jasper National Park, AB
 
After a relatively warm night of sleeping in the car, we awoke to clear skies and made our way to Pyramid Lake. We started along the short trail and soon crossed the iconic bridge that leads to Pyramid Island. After arriving to the viewpoint of Pyramid Mountain, we found a few other photographers already there, one having already taken what seemed to be the best composition. I settled on the foreground that you see in the photo, but ended up liking this composition much more than the other. In fact, this turned out to be my favorite shot of the entire trip.
