Standing upon a frozen lake, my breath was turning to ice in my beard in the sub-zero temperatures. While providing what seemed like no warmth, the winter sun illuminated the southern slopes of the iconic Mt. Rundle, while a strong wind lifted the snow from the peak and blew it off its northern face.
