Lake Wenatchee, WA
 
As I drove along the northern shore of Lake Wenatchee during the final weeks of fall, I passed under towering trees filled with golden leaves. The shore of the lake has plenty of rocks to choose from as foreground for a composition, so I made my choice and placed a single yellow leaf among them. A final gesture to say goodbye to autumn and hello to winter.
